What We're Looking For
We are in need of a Ruby Developer Tech Lead who will take charge of leading and guiding a team of Ruby developers in the creation and maintenance of top-tier applications. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of Ruby, coupled with a track record in technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making.
In addition to leading our Ruby development team, we are looking for an individual with a strong focus on enhancing our backend processes for global online sales. This role involves diverse projects, including integrating Salesforce and other upcoming tools in the backend, customizing our websites, and driving the development of verticals for our wide array of products.

- Lead a team of Ruby on Rails developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Ruby applications.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and complex challenges.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices.
- Mentor and train team members in efficient software development and programming practices.
- Participate in technical and strategic decision-making related to development projects.
- Architect, develop, and maintain complex Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
🧑🎤 To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Previous experience in a technical leadership role.
- Have experience with recent Rails versions 5+ and impact on upgrades
- Have a strong expertise in GIT version control & QA process.
- Strong Knowledge of MySQL and Relational databases
- Know how to work with Docker containers.
- Have some knowledge about software architecture and design patterns, they are important subjects you can make wise decisions on.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective technical decisions.
