We believe in elegant engineering, scalability, and impact. As we grow, we’re looking for a Software Development Manager to lead our Rails-focused engineering team of 4 developers, blending technical leadership with people management to help us scale to the next level.
🛠 What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 4 Rails developers while staying hands-on with the codebase.
- Oversee architecture decisions and champion best practices in Ruby on Rails development.
- Drive Agile processes, from sprint planning through to delivery.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to translate ideas into high-quality, production-ready software.
- Foster professional growth within the team, balancing technical excellence with personal development.
- Ensure systems remain scalable, secure, and high-performing as we expand.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Proven expertise in Ruby on Rails, with experience building and shipping real products.
- Prior leadership experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or Engineering Manager.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- A passion for building great software and great teams.
