The Role

We are currently looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our Growth Team based out of our offices in Montreal, Quebec, San Francisco, California, or remote.

You will be the first engineer to be a dedicated member of our growth team. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of growth marketers, product managers, designers, and clinicians who are focused on the acquisition, activation, and retention of patients. You will be responsible for implementing experiments and product changes . You will also be responsible for instrumenting experiments and setup analytics to measure their impact.

Additionally you will work alongside our core engineering team to ship high-quality software and implement larger initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Be the technical resource within the growth team.
Design and implement experiments to improve patient acquisition, activation, and retention.
Setup data analytics to understand user behavior.
Write secure, HIPAA-compliant software.
Contribute to the engineering culture and hiring.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer
Excellent programming skills.
Excellent knowledge of Ruby/Rails, Javascript/React, and HTML/CSS.
Ability to create prototypes quickly.
Good understanding of growth metrics and ability to make decisions from data.
Experimental mindset, not afraid to throw away code of failed experiments.
Experience shipping and maintaining a Web app in production
Good eye for design and ability to make product decisions
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE:

BS, MS or PhD in computer science, math, or similar fields.
Experience shipping and maintaining a large software system.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience at a fast growing startup.
Good knowledge of computer security.

COMPENSATION

In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location (San Francisco, Montreal, or International Remote Contract), output levels, and options to trade cash for stock. This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary (cash and stock combined) of $133,350- $171,450 CAD (if based in Montreal) plus generous vacation, full medical/dental benefits. Salary ranges will differ depending on where the candidate is based.
